Swain and Maple Tree Inn - March, 2009
 

This year, more than 30 R.S. Clubber's made their way to Swain and to the Maple Tree Inn.  A few started the day with a morning ski on what looked like some very pleasant spring conditions. Next, not to waste any of the day, most everyone met at the Sierra Inn for socializing.  Then with the help of our trusty GPS’s, we navigated to our intended goal, the Maple Tree Inn.  The plan was to lunch on their always exquisite buckwheat cakes and other homey trimmings. The food seemed especially tasty this year coupled with the Inn’s “backroom warm hospitality”.  Before leaving, we sang 'Happy Birthday' to one of our very energetic club members!
